So, last night it happened. I won Sole Trader of the Year 2021 at the Leicestershire Live Women in Business Awards. I woke up with a fuzzy head and thought it all a dream! But no, the trophy was there.
It was great to be getting all dressed up, going out and celebrating with clients, friends and celebrating all Women in Business.
There was some stiff competition and a rigorous judging procedure so the fact I made it to a finalist was amazing but to win was the cherry on the cake.
Having built a business over five years has been an amazing challenge, but one I have, and continue to thoroughly enjoy. This award wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my family, friends and most importantly clients, so thank you to you all.
I am supported by an amazing paraplanning and administration team who help to provide a great service to all my clients, without these guys it wouldn’t have been possible.
